It's hunting season and I have some dogs who are in danger if they run away from me in the woods. One of them has an orange harness and I ordered this collar for a friend of hers. This collar is way better than I thought it would be. Its durability and strength are immediately noticeable: the collar is nice and thick, but still flexible and is very soft on my girlfriend's neck thanks to the neoprene lining. The clasp is plastic but very strong and reliable. It closes permanently and securely. Instead of one ring for a leash, there are two of them, and they're metal. Even if one of them fails, you have a backup. For one exciting moment I thought it was a martingale collar (and I wish it was!) but it will work just fine anyway. Any tags your buddy wears attach to a separate small ring that is separate from the leash. No more accidentally snagging the leash on your trailer's split ring! The collar easily adjusts in size and stays in place well (it's always a good idea to check the fit of your buddy's collar every day). Orange isn't the ugliest I've ever seen, but it's good enough that my girlfriend won't be mistaken for wild. It also has reflective stitching to keep your dog visible at night. I expected much less for the price and am very happy with this collar. Dog Milli thinks he looks very sporty in it, so everyone here is happy.
