This is less of a "door stopper" and more of a "door stopper". As a doorstop, this pin just doesn't do what I really need it for. I need a doorstop so the doorknob doesn't cut into the drywall or whatever. The problem is that there are many mechanical limitations on what this should do because 1) the hinge metal can break and 2) the pin metal can break. This means that while this doorstop can help with a gentle breeze or the cautious opening of a door, it doesn't stop you from otherwise damaging your walls. This is real crap. I was going to buy 15 of these (expensive!) for my house but they just didn't work as doorstops.
