I bought 2 hoping I could replace one and wash the other to keep a quick cycle. Unfortunately, brand new filters only lasted about 45 days before a pressure drop necessitated a filter change, while poly filters (another brand) lasted 5-6 months. Okay 45 days I didn't think it was that bad, they're reusable so maybe worth it. Not much, even after cleaning and high pressure washing, the pressure started dropping after 10 days when I tried to reuse it. To be honest there is enough sludge in my water and it would be ok to change it every 45 days but not every 10-15 days with consistent use. Simply put, they cannot be effectively reused and the filter life is too short.
