When I think about it, even before the pandemic it was indecent to blow on a cake that other people wanted to eat. I bought these for a friend's birthday and when we brought the cake we each hung a candle on their drink and we all raised our glasses and sang 'Happy Birthday' and then blew them all out at the same time. It was really festive and celebratory, and people said they enjoyed it even more than the candles on the cake because everyone had to be involved (and the birthday girl felt special at the same time!). This will definitely be our new birthday tradition!
