Not suitable for finishing doors with details.
These hinge pins will probably work well if you have a plain surface. There is little detail in my trim and when the doors were opened with the doors installed they dented the trim making it look old and shabby. I was about to install them because I recently got a new puppy and the doorstops sticking out of the baseboard trim and lying low on the floor enticed her to chew. I think another type could have worked, but unfortunately not.
