I never thought how a good chalk bag could help with climbing until I got my hands on this one. As a boulderer I always used a chalk bucket, but when I started exercising and trading I had to get into the habit of tying a chalk bag around my waist. The first thing that struck me was how wide the opening is in this bag. I had no problem finding the opening when I really needed it, writing down the middle of the key was no problem. The zip is great for dropping last minute stuff before heading out, or if you want to grab your phone for a mail and send a selfie. The construction is nice and the material seems to be able to withstand a lot. I've used this chalk bag throughout my season in Yosemite this year, from running over my favorite boulders to relentlessly trying new routes. Heck, this bag survived the cheese rub in Generator Crack, so you know it's going to last!
