This tool was needed to make ball joints on my 2006 F-250 and it didn't even fit in the hub bore. The listing says it takes a hit. It's not true that the tool was immediately dented with a hammer and stuck about 3/4 inch in the hub. I had to hit him to get him out. Now realize that you have been in the automotive industry for 24 years and prefer to do your own work. But this tool was a waste of money - it didn't fit. Didn't use it, had to buy another local tool to fit the hub and yes the hub was cleaned and tested before use. Guess I've been screwed
