My APK 100 air pump stopped working a month after the warranty expired. I was frustrated for a full minute (MINUTE) until I took the block apart and it was very hot. Heat plus rubberized material does not last long, and a year in such conditions is not bad! So I thought about just buying new diaphragms. It's expensive, but less than the price of a new device. It also comes with a new air filter and my air pump is running better than ever. Which made me realize my diaphragms were probably damaged, but I didn't know about it. I hope it holds up, but given the good feel for detail in my hand, I think so.
