There has to be a way to create a latch-in-open-lock queuing system where these spice containers can be hot-swapped. This can be useful at a barbecue on the beach or somewhere in a gazebo in the park, but for most things other than choosing salt, pepper, or some other ground spice in the first place, this isn't easy to handle when seasoning. Rather than a creative hot-swappable method, which I was hoping for, you have to disassemble the particular can, unscrew the lid, turn the grinder upside down and remove the main can. Next you need to screw the lid back onto the main jar, screw in the opened and selected spice jar and attach it to the end of the grinder. A process that is time consuming and mostly impractical for cooking unless you intend to season everything first and only use one type of seasoning during the cooking process. Even then it's a pain. If it were made so that each refill jar had its own grinder attachment, or some other clever modification that didn't require screwing and removing the lids, that might be acceptable. They recommend for small kitchens or remote cooking areas, good try. However, the kitchen must be very small so that there is no space for several manual or electric coffee grinders. Pre-ground spice sets take up little space along with tiny jars, so it's more work than it's worth. Not recommended.
