This is a very good phone for the money. It supports POE, or you can buy an adapter separately. However, other sellers may offer it as a bundle for about the same price, so keep an eye out for that. The T27 can be easily programmed as an extension for systems such as Asterisk, FreePBX, voiSip Cloud, etc. The phone has a good weight and shape and great sound quality. The speakerphone sounds pretty good too. The screen is fairly legible, although for a little more you can get the T29 with a larger color screen. The price is low, especially compared to other brands like Cisco or Polycom. This phone has 8 programmable keys. (aka DSS keys) which can be organized into 3 pages of 7 (21 total). This allows you to customize the BLF (Busy Lamp) keys. The BLF buttons allow you to monitor the status of other extensions (Green = Available, Red = Busy) and perform a one-button transfer instead of complex short codes (*). In my opinion, BLF keys are essential to get the most out of IP or cloud PBX systems. I give them 5 stars. It combines features and a price that really is hard to beat. denial of responsibility. Over the years I have used dozens of different makes and models of phones in my work including Cisco, Polycom, Aastra, Panasonic, Toshiba, RCA, Mitel, NEC and more. So I can be a little jaded when it comes to phones. I really like the Yealink brand for their bang for the buck. Just make sure any phone you buy has plenty of programmable buttons. Yealink T27G and T29G have a great price. I think they are the "golden point" for low cost with high performance.
