My ACECAR Digital GPS Speedometer gave my classic car a multi-decade instrument-panel facelift, bringing some existing features up to date and adding some new ones even current cars lack. I love the fact that this HUD (Heads-Up Display) lets me check my speed, direction and other factors without taking my eyes off of the road in front of me, and the brightness adjusts itself to be visible in daylight yet not dazzling at night. I also really appreciate that I can set an alarm to warn me if I go faster than the speed I've set; my car makes it all too easy to drift way above the limit if I don't pay close attention.Unlike both OEM and OBD-based instruments, the ACECAR Digital GPS Speedometer gets its information from GPS satellites, which means it's immune to such things as tire diameter which can reduce accuracy in those other types of speedometers, but it also means a good GPS signal is required so - although I haven't had any such problems - tunnels, underpasses and big-city streets could cause occasional issues. This will seldom be a problem, especially if the original speedometer remains functional as a backup. I really like this speedometer and recommend it highly for anyone who wants to update their vehicle, or to replace an old speedometer.
