This comb is gorgeous as hell, very durable and incredibly smooth. I carry it in my bag and try to brush my hair at least twice a day to "spice up" the wood. (In case you didn't know, wooden combs absorb your hair's natural oil over time, which makes them even better for your hair as they begin to distribute that oil like a boar-bristle brush.) The wood is very smooth. and doesn't snag at all, and there are no corners at all, so it won't scratch or roughen. This isn't the best option for wet detangling since the teeth are close together, but it works like magic for dry hair.
