The entire setup is very easy to use for the most part. In fact, the transmitter and receiver synced so smoothly that I seriously doubted it would actually work. The only problem I had was that the manual told me to connect the line out port to the camera's microphone port. As a result, no sound was recorded. I fixed bugs on various components and was completely at a loss. On a whim I decided to connect the headphone jack to the microphone jack and it worked. I don't know if the instructions are wrong or if I have a broken device, but now it works great. The sound quality is good, I'm not sure I know my stuff about this, but it works and it's relatively easy. I would also recommend this device for beginners.
