So far I like this brass hammer. Looks well built and balanced. I've used it several times and it does what it's supposed to. The main effect is to protect the surface you hit. I've seen people write bad reviews about brass hammers getting damaged and snapped too easily. That's what they're here for. The brass hammer sacrifices itself to save the surface you hit.
