Review on ZULU Atlas Glass Water Bottle Review: 20 oz Teal Bottle with Silicone Sleeve by Simon Nugroho

This water bottle is exactly what I was looking for! I hate the taste of water in metal bottles and don't trust plastic bottles anymore. This glass bottle is PERFECT. ADVANTAGES: - Glass makes the water taste MUCH better than metal or plastic, and keeps the water colder longer - The mouthpiece is also glass, so there are no complicated plastic straws to clean - The silicone sleeve is protective AND REMOVABLE (so you can clean the whole bottle and nothing gets stuck under the sleeve!) - flip top lid is easy to use (seriously, you only need one hand. I have tiny hands and even I can do it, so it would be easy to use even for kids) - locking mechanism The Side can be slid into a 'locking' position, preventing the lid from opening if you don't want it - The silicone seal in the lid prevents leakage (see pictures. In one photo I removed the silicone ring , so you can see it.It is easy to put on and take off for cleaning and prevents leakage) - Convenient carrying strap is made of fabric, not plastic t material so it is more comfortable to wear when you put it on your fingers - EASY TO CLEAN! This bottle is dishwasher safe! CONS: This bottle is quite heavy compared to traditional metal or plastic water bottles of a similar size. It's not unwieldy, but if you're going on a long hike you might want to take a bag or backpack to carry it as it's likely to be a nuisance to hold all the time. The glass is still very glassy so it will shatter if you drop it on the wrong surface or from a bad height. This doesn't surprise me and isn't a huge minus in my opinion, you just have to be a bit more careful with this bottle than with plastic/metal (obviously). Overall, this water bottle is amazing. and if you're looking for a way to drink water that doesn't taste like metal/plastic, this bottle is perfect. Just be aware that it's glass and be prepared that it's heavier than the bottles you're used to and you'll be fine.
