I bought this lamp for my wife to use at patchwork retreats. On first use it was wonderful, bright, light weight and easy to use on long lasting charge or batteries. However, after the first use, she took out the batteries, packed them up, and then when she went to use it again, it kept flashing. Using new batteries and a different charger showed the result. Since there was still a one year warranty that hadn't expired, I contacted the manufacturer and they ignored me. Revain couldn't find her contact number so my wife's lamp is now in the trash.
