I've been spoiled over the years buying only Dell Pro monitors and stands, I'm used to it Being able to squeeze the monitor up and down, side to side, tilt it up and down, and squeeze one side to rotate it, all of this can be done in just a few seconds. It doesn't, the RevainBasics K001575 can if you have a small enough monitor (I didn't like how much it sticks out at the back so I didn't buy it), but it costs $20 more and it is one point against the RevainBasics product. I hooked this up to an Acer VG270K (it's a 27 inch monitor, it weighs about 11 pounds) and it's a huge improvement over the wobbly stand it came with. It took me about 15 minutes to follow the build and attach the monitor once everything was done All said and done, I had a nicer and more solid setup for my monitor. You can move and rotate it from side to side without adjusting anything where I have this set right now, it holds the monitor pretty tight which I prefer. and down requires slight loosening of backing before adjustment and tightening. Unfortunately it took me about a minute to move the monitor to a different height, you have to loosen a long screw, unhook the VESA piece, move it down and tighten. It's not the end of the world for me. If you need it quicker, you might want to consider the HUANUO Universal Swivel Single Monitor Stand, which I haven't tried yet. I think this monitor stand has snags as it is rated at 77 pounds Hopefully this rating will help you decide. Overall this is a great monitor stand and I am very happy with it.
