Review on Pasow Holder Mounting Bracket Adapter by Sean Copeland

I am using this in a BP655 in-win case which is very small to start with. The case has an integrated DVD rack at the top and up to 2 drives at the bottom. One of the discs may be 3.5 inches and the other only half the height. Note. I haven't seen half height drives in over 20 years, but I've used this adapter to fit a 2.5" drive and it worked great. There are two adapters in the box, and each adapter has 8 screws. SSD drives are not threaded like standard hard drives, but like DVD players, i.e. thread pitch is much smaller. I've never had a computer case with threaded mounting holes, rather the threads are always in the bracket. However, I only used the screws that came with the adapter to attach the SSD to the adapter and then to the computer case. They offer both the small spacing used on similar devices and the wider spacing used on hard drives. The only problem is that the SATA connectors for the 2.5" drive don't match the connectors for the 3.5" drive, but I saw that in the photos in the listing and thought I could live with it by plugging in the cables in advance time to do so was not a problem. For me this solution works great and for the price it's a good value. I'll probably use a different set next time.
