Too dumb to read the reviews

I bought these without reading the reviews I have. If I had read I would have seen the comments that they weren't cut for "regular" HD screws. I actually got lucky and one of the two I got was close enough for me to install. The second garbage, so you have to take another one. Buy cheap, buy twice. On the other hand, it will center your smaller drive, which can be an issue if your cable guides expect the connectors to be flush on one side, like a "regular" 3.5 drive. I REALLY should have spent…

Worked but could have had adjustable holes for easier installation.

The only problem with this product is that the SATA connector can make it difficult to access the drive connector once a drive is installed. This is especially true for the L-shaped connector. A simple fix would be to make the locking holes on the actuator oval instead of round. This allows the user to position the drive further away so there are no connection issues. Note. The ports on my computer are fixed which made this a problem. If you were using a SATA cable with a straight connector and

Excellent value for money SSD bay holder

It was exactly what I wanted, 2 metal bays, strong and the right size. My only complaint, and why I gave it 4 stars, was that I had to file the holes a bit to allow the bays to snap into place on my case (there's a button I press to insert metal pins into the screw holes, so I don't need to play around with screws). I've bought several types of SSD holders, but this was the first one I had to submit. I also had to blunt the sharp edges with a file/sandpaper where the SATA cables meet, but…

Love the price good for improvement

Hard to beat for the price and simplicity of these drive bay adapters, and they come with all the hardware you (should) need. That's the good part. The problem is that I've encountered too many situations where these adapters just didn't fit. For example, they will not fit Dell desktops that use plastic tool-less drive sleds because these adapters set the dead center of the 2.5" drive, many of these drive sleds require it to be offset to one side, and the cables can stretch up to a 2.5-inch…

Great for my use case

I am using this in a BP655 in-win case which is very small to start with. The case has an integrated DVD rack at the top and up to 2 drives at the bottom. One of the discs may be 3.5 inches and the other only half the height. Note. I haven't seen half height drives in over 20 years, but I've used this adapter to fit a 2.5" drive and it worked great. There are two adapters in the box, and each adapter has 8 screws. SSD drives are not threaded like standard hard drives, but like DVD players, i.e.

Works as advertised: good price

It's often said that "you get what you pay for" and that applies to this case. I wanted a simple and efficient way to house my new 2.5" SSD in a 3.5" computer case. That's exactly what I got at a very good price. The box arrived the next day with two adapter cartridges and eight screws for each cartridge (four to connect the drive to the adapter cage and four to fit the adapter to my computer's drive cage. The adapter cartridges that came with them were pre-drilled and tapped where needed A #2…
