There were no product reviews at the time of purchase. I was looking for a more subtle solution for my iPad/iPhone. The soft round end is suitable for these devices. Pointed end - no. Haven't tried this with my Garmin (UPDATE: actually works great with my Garmin GPS). Does it work with signature pads in store? I have no idea, but I'll take a look. (UPDATE: no it doesn't) I wouldn't have bought them if I had been warned that the pointed end doesn't work with my devices. I wasn't looking for something to actually take notes on, just wanted a thinner pen. For some reason this item is also non-refundable. This was another joy I discovered shortly after finding out they weren't working for me. I figured the best thing to do at this point would be to write a review and warn others. If all you want is a Garmin GPS stylus, buy one. Otherwise don't do it.
