Will not work in cat doors, railings or steps

I bought this to protect my door from dog scratches as advertised. This product just didn't work. Turning was almost impossible. When I unfolded it and pressed it against the door, I taped it to the door with the supplied tape/grommets. As soon as I stopped pushing him against the door, he broke free of the door and rolled off. The tape that came with it was totally inadequate. I do not recommend this poor quality product.
