So I'm not the type to usually write reviews but I want to share a few things for those who may be able to purchase this. Light sensor so it doesn't work in or near bright light. This is sunlight. I mention this because it is not mentioned anywhere. Once you're near some type of light, to turn it on or off, you'll have to move it outside, move the battery or remote control, and then back. Then and only then will it work again. it's a pain 2 - You have no way to attach yourself to the pool or anything. I tried using velcro but it wouldn't get stuck in the pool so I fell into my pool (4ft deep). 3- In the pool, the remote control didn't turn on the light. I had to physically take the light out of the water to turn it on. Water acts as a barrier and blocks signal transmission. To use the lanterns, I have to turn them on and then throw them in the water. 4- in the water the light is not very bright. Overall very disappointing and I hope this helps someone.
