Great if you don't mess with the bug!

The first question everyone asks is: does it really work? Well, not bad actually, but not for everyone. If you have a very messy home with a lot of things on the floor, such as a puppy that didn't break into the house, yes it happened, not once but thrice! Then this is NOT for you. This is for you, if you are very tidy and don't have anything lying around, you have a cat or dog that sheds and you just don't have time to vacuum every day, then you'll love this robot! I have two dogs and we are dirty but I found my floors to be pretty clean. When I first turned Roomba on it ran for about two hours and when I emptied the tray I was shocked! It was clogged with dirt, hair, bugs, (see picture) I couldn't believe I missed so many areas with my vacuum. I use both the stand and the container and the steamer! Roomba gets into corners with its three rotating brushes and best of all: it fits under most pieces of furniture! It got under my beds, my vanity, most dressers, my commercial fridge, my sofa, my bar, all my tables, the dishes, behind the chairs and what was in all those places left me speechless! I have a 2,000 square foot one story house that is fully tiled with some rugs. Roomba performed just as well on carpet as it did on my tile. Did it do the whole house in one use, no, but after a week of daily use I have to say the floors were pretty damn clean. After a week with Roomba, my bagless wireless rack is much smaller. I'm somewhere between neat and messy, and on a couple of occasions Roomba got stuck on a cord, towel, or under a bedroom that's upstairs and got stuck under a nightstand and dresser. Sometimes he managed to lean on the edge of the rug next to the dresser and squeeze under it, getting stuck in circles and eventually dying the battery. It also got stuck under the bedside table and would not put on or take off. It has an auto shut off if it gets stuck under a drawstring drawer etc. Nice feature but when it's in the back room I couldn't hear the warning tone and it couldn't return to the charger. Like I said, your furniture has to be over 3 3/4 inches tall to get under it, so it didn't work in our master bedroom, so we're leaving that door closed. At home. I love that it can detect a particularly messy area like a rug by the front door and automatically rotate outwards in a circle to clean that area very well. You can also use AP for this. It comes with a small cube that you can place in a place that you should avoid, such as. B. in a pet bowl or in a room. The switch can be set to two modes, a circular pattern or a straight line setting for a doorway. The device will return to the charger on its own unless the clutter causes it to get close and drain the battery. This has happened a few times at the gym where it gets stuck between a barbell, gym and exercise bike, again not for this one It's for me even if I'm a bit messy it's still worth having, especially to keep up with two little me-dogs and a heavily used kitchen with flour all over the place. Maybe this is my only vacuum, no not really, my house is too big for Roomba to compete, so 4 and not 5 stars. If my house was smaller and I had less stuff I would give this 100 stars, it's worth the price of a house of about 1400 square feet. And no mess. You have to empty the tray every day, it's a bit messy. So it's better to put it outside in the jar. It does have a replacement filter, but I just took the original filter out of the can and put it back in. It has a hair cutting tool that easily cleans the hair from the brush. Bed. No, removing the Roomba was not easy and we practiced a lot as it has happened 3 times already! We're very good at removing the Roomba's brushes, door, wheels etc and it comes apart easily for a thorough cleaning, but try to avoid pooping, it's ugly! but only to certain people.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
