Review on Koss Communications Headset Microphone CS100 USB by Brandon Carraway

I bought it for Dragon Dictate 4 for Mac. I've bought significantly more expensive headphones with a mic from BestBuy and while I was assured the more expensive ones would work, they didn't work at all. Koss - much cheaper - worked immediately. Music was playing on my computer when I first plugged Koss headphones into my computer. I wasn't thinking about music when I put it on - and my first reaction was - wow - the music is really loud and clear. Although I didn't buy them for the sound, I was impressed. When I matched the microphone to a speech recognition app, it improved a lot. However, I had a lot of issues with Dragon 4 for Mac, so despite the noticeable improvement, it's hard to say how good it really was. I recently upgraded to Dragon Dictate 5 for Mac, which is a significant step up from version 4 (there are still some issues with speech recognition, but they are much better/significantly less frustrating. I've tried Dragon 5 without Koss and with Koss - and the Koss mic clearly made a difference.
