Great replacement
I received my Xbox on the first day of its release in 2013. It is known that the first wave had problems with the discs. Finally after 7 years mine finally gave up and it was time to replace it. In short, this drive works great as a replacement! Just what you need for the original Xbox One theme. Warning: You will need to replace the daughterboard in this drive with the one in your old drive as it is designed to mate with the original Xbox motherboard. It's not too difficult, but I'd recommend watching a few tutorial videos on YouTube before trying!
