Review on Zoom Q2n-4K Handy Video Recorder: Ultra High Definition 4K/30P Video, Compact Size, Stereo Microphones, Wide Angle Lens - Perfect for Music Recording, Video Production, YouTube Videos, and Live Streaming by Jeffrey Connel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Of course you can enlarge some of them with your smartphone.

But xy-axis mics, built-in upscaling from 4K to 720p, or just audio if you just want an audio sketchpad, it all works exactly as it should for a musician who just has a dedicated device Track productivity without having to download any tricky apps on your phone and learn how to use them. I connected it to a battery and a tripod with a mic adapter and recorded a 2 hour concert on Saturday. Pop a memory card into your computer and you're in business. It's up to you to decide which video editing software to optimize, but really good digital video recording is the place to start. Zoom has been around long enough that every now and then they'll synthesize multiple ideas into a dynamite product that knocks it out of the park. This is one of those products that is just ice cold in production. It seems durable, but only time will tell. The only reason I took a star off the rating is the poor battery life. But you can get 4K on contract, that's all. And the short battery life can be curbed by buying an extra power bank or plugging it into a USB power source, which is nice. As I said, you can do this with the right smartphone, but it is better to have a dedicated device to record your performances. Ditch the phone to call the club owner for your salary.
