As you know, relatively few PCs today have serial ports, but many of the devices designed to work with these PCs only have serial ports. USB to serial converters tend to be unreliable, making this little device inexpensive and useful. The octopus connectors are particularly valuable, as otherwise there would not be room for four connectors. The PCI-E card is quite small and fits into tight spaces such as B. Installation was easy. On Win 7/64, you can just connect and work. A driver disk is included, but my system found the correct drivers on its own. Over the past few weeks I've connected several devices through the Syba 4x serial port card and they all worked flawlessly. Highly recommended.
