Not really for round tail lights.
Tried for 2057 tail/brake replacement. Lighting wasn't bad but round tail lights need 360° lighting or you end up with shadows. This bulb had a decent tail to brake brightness difference (best of the 4 I tried of this brand). I would say more of a burnt orange color. I ended up using an Alla Lighting ZES chip one, seemed safer.
