I love the smell of the new Ionic hair dryer! He smells so clean. I had another dryer that I received earlier this year, the button broke after about 6 uses. This knob is different than the broken dryer I had so I'm hoping it will hold up like it should. My favorite setting for this is cool/high. I live in the south and the daytime temperature is quite high. I don't want or need heat! When I dry my hair I use the cool/high setting and it only takes a few minutes to dry long hair. I will probably heat in winter but we are not ready yet. It folds up for travel or storage and it seems to work properly. The connector has a reset button so you know it's not a little two-pronged cable that goes everywhere. When used in the top socket, it blocks the use of the bottom socket. It has 3 settings: high temperature, low temperature, high temperature. It also has a blue LED that shines in the drying direction. Blue light antibacterial. It's not ultraviolet. I'm actually glad my other dryer broke because I like this one much better.
