Review on πŸ”Š Enhance your Car Audio Experience with the SCOSCHE FMT4R FM Transmitter: 20 Frequency Selections for Crystal Clear Sound by Damon Fuqua

Revainrating 2 out of 5

As a device for listening to music while traveling, it's not very practical. Just too much PITA to pay out.

Bought for a trip in 2014 to be able to play MP3 tracks from phone to car without an extra jack. There were high hopes, but the reality is that it just doesn't work very well. The radio could not be tuned to this station on most frequencies. Usually at the moment there might be one that worked out of all the options. And between setting the frequency on the transmitter and setting the tuner on the radio, it's a hassle to figure out which one. And then, within a few minutes, you'll lose the signal again and get stuck again, going through all the frequencies. to find one where you can hear something. And even if you "get it right," it's not enough for music, although it might be enough to listen to an e-book. But you pretty much guarantee static and far from ideal sound quality. Basically it was too much PITA for the rewards to actually use. It's been in the car ever since, and we've tried using it from time to time, but never had good results. In the evening I finally cleaned the car, found it, looked at it and then threw it away. Not worth being around. If you listen to e-books in your car and don't need to drive far and/or stay within a small radius so radio frequencies never change, you may find this useful. For our purposes. Well, we don't.

Pretty good, and cheap transmitter for vehicle use. IF you also get a 3 or 4 foot extension cable!!

Use it as a "poor man's" in-ear instrument monitoring system.
