The zipper on this coat was a problem from the start and soon the zipper came loose, not because of heavy use and we closed another one, but soon the zipper's teeth started to fall out and the button laces soon broke. The other part of the coat is really good but only lasted a few months due to the zipper and has always been a problem. My little girl has never been able to zip up herself.
