My 2011 Ram 3500 had a triple steering stabilizer with Rough Country stabilizers. When I hit a bump at 70 mph and my truck hit a big "death wobble," I knew something was wrong. I checked the 3 stabilizer bars I had on the truck and one of them was defective and the other two remained fully "working". I quickly ordered one of these Bilstein shock absorbers and installed it the same day. 1 Bilstein offered better steering than 3 ever. Came back over a bump that sent my truck spiraling into the 70's, 80's and 85's. Little steering, but he was instantly overwhelmed. It is unlikely to move, let alone go into a fit. I thought like everyone else, "When 1 works well, 2 works even BETTER!" I ordered a second one and installed it as soon as possible. Ran the same bump this morning, again at 85 mph. I literally had to look back and make sure I got past him because I felt something coming through the steering wheel. I cleaned up the goo I left in the steering and yes I checked everything else. The ball joints are fine, the tie rods have been replaced due to a factory recall, a new rack, a new steering. The biggest problem was poor quality stabilizers. Save yourself the headache and choose Bilstein.
