Human Opinion: My sweet old cat is cold all the time and I thought a pet sweater would keep her warm this winter. The cat was very unhappy when I put it on her - she didn't scratch or growl, but once she was over her head and on one leg, everything. She wouldn't let me lift a leg, and that area pressed against her chest, restricting movement. Kitty stood there for 15 minutes, apparently realizing that her back and neck were comfortably warm, but she was...retired. I felt sorry and took off my sweater and she felt better. Cat's comment: Mom/slave gave me this fluffy long blanket with holes. The smell was acceptable. But then she tried to hang me! She pulled the blanket over my head, temporarily straightened me, and then inserted my foot into the little hole like a twister! While the blanket felt warm, how am I supposed to function when I'm actually bound to the blanket? Nice try mother/slave, but it's not chopped catnip. Cat update: Mom/slave gave me a heating pad which is awesome! She can continue to live here and serve me in exchange for the occasional cat kiss and lots of hairballs.
