Review on 6 Feet Silverback 12 AWG Speaker Wire - High Strand Count with Banana Plugs by Tina Cruz

Update 11/22/2018: Purchased optional Silverback cable for Sony SSCS5 surround speakers, also purchased from Revain/World Wide Stereo in our newly enhanced 5.1 configuration: I recently purchased a 100- Foot coil cable Sewell Silverback 12 purchased AWG speakers to install two new Sony SSCS5 bookshelf speakers as surround speakers on 36" Pangea stands in our almost all Sony home theaters with STR-ZA3000ES receiver, SSCS5 also front left and right, SSCS8 in the center and SACS9 for the subwoofer.Connecting the farthest surround speaker required 50ft of cable which I ran along the baseboards.The SSCS5 is rated for 6 ohms so I figured that at one wire that long, 12 AWG would be the safe bet for great sound.For the next speaker I used the remaining 50 feet of Silverback wire.I used 100 feet of Dra as advertised ht measured and confirmed on a coil. Conclusion: success! Phenomenally beautiful, powerful and dynamic sound from all Sony Core series speakers, Sony STR-ZA3000ES receiver and Sewell Silverback 12 AWG 5.1 cable that just keeps getting better. Amazing sound that is close to my standard of quality, which I firmly believe is the result of careful and lengthy homework, acquiring the right quality components and ensuring they are placed in the best possible way in our home theater/room. As far as I can tell, it's the details that count. One of those parts, the Sewell Silverback cable, works great for our home theater. At least I know it's of very high quality and I'm confident that the amazing sound we're hearing is the best we can get from our extremely powerful Sony and Sony ES components. The Sewell Silverback 12 AWG cables are a perfect fit and work great with my Sony STR-ZA3000ES AV receiver and Sony SSCS5 bookshelf speakers on 31" stands. The highly acclaimed and acclaimed Core Series speakers sound great anyway, but with these excellent speaker cables in the audio chain, they just sing and sing over and over like there's no tomorrow! I believe the true quality of these connections, including the quantity and quality of pure, oxygen-free copper strands, helps ensure true quality in transmitting the intended sound from the source.
