My deal to get a security camera DVR locally fell through, so I can't speak to the video quality so far. In terms of first impressions, though, the camera feels pretty sturdy and looks pretty imposing (enough to scare off a potential burglar, perhaps?). I purchased this camera for added home security and getting a view on speeding drivers passing my home daily. There has been several accidents in my area, just because drivers are speeding and they can't navigate the curve in front of my house. I would like to have proof if someone ends up in my front yard. I have purchased two of these cameras for both angles and hope this will get the full picture when the next accident occurs. Good price and super picture quality.

I'll start with the positive:The camera says it works with digital and analog systems. I cannot test the digital aspect, but there is a switch that can change between modes. Certainly works on analog and connects perfectly with my Swann DVR. Would not recommend this camera. It does not allow color during the day and B&W at night. You set either color OR Day/Night mode but you cant have both. Bad design, I will be sending it back.

Pros:It is functional, for sure.
