If you want a deep exfoliation, you must soak it first!
I like them but I'd like one with stiff bristles for melted cheese and stuff to clean. Instead, the bristles just sort of rub against it. For general cleaning they are perfect, easy to clean and do not smell. I'm getting more and more used to them, but then again, I wish they had a little hard spot to tidy things up so you don't always have to soak everything to use them.
