I really want this product to work as well as it is shown to work. It fits the 1st generation Google Mini, but the magnet that is supposed to hold the Google Mini to the socket is not strong enough. Therefore, if you place it in the kitchen, bathroom, or hallway, etc., it will fall and detach at the slightest accidental pressure or bump. To be honest I wouldn't even dare hang it 6ft high on the wall because as I mentioned before the magnet just isn't strong enough and I believe it will fall off the wall sooner or later and will damage your Google Mimi. .So I recommend 360 Power Clip for Google Home Mini. This is what I received and sent back to KIWI. I understand there's a price difference, but the 360 really does fit better in the wall and really doesn't stick out of the outlet, and don't block another plug or FALL THE WALL with no questions asked. This is definitely one of those things you get what you pay for and after trying both 360 power clamps I have now mounted all my 1st gen Google Home Minis and recommended them to everyone I know. Plus, installation is even easier as you don't have to worry about plugs or cables.
