Review on ๐Ÿš— Carter P4070 High-Performance In-Line Electric Fuel Pump by Braden Bowers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Dead head pressure after filling is 6.5-7psi, flow is great

This pump solved my LONG STANDING problem with a 12S Mr Gasket pump I was using that was pushing over 10psi, IDK as far as mine Gauge reads ten, but the truck won't be idling that much. I put a Mr G regulator on it and it blew the diaphragm so I was skeptical so I tested it first and it outputs just the right pressure for my Q-Jet. I even removed the bypass regulator I had installed and that solved all of my fueling issues. I can't say how long this will take, it's only been a few days, but I've ridden over 120 miles in the hills and on the interstate and it's worked great so far! Also don't know about the siphon, I attached it to the frame to place it with the center of the tank, it's a siphon supply as I used the existing fuel line from the guide assembly that comes out at the top of the tank tank and it works fine . It's been 3 months now and it's still working great.

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Some bugs
