I really like these! The size is just right, the onion is just over half an inch thick. The soft white is very calming and not too bright. I would deduct a star for the remote, but I won't do it for something I'll probably never use. But if you get it for the remote control functionality. NOT. The remote isn't really responsive and no matter what button you press it just cycles through different flashing modes, but if I want it to stay solid color without flashing I have to press a button that's physically connected to the cable. Otherwise great and exactly what I was looking for
