I love the map light. Easy installation. Perfect intensity on red and white. Note that the indicator lights up when the device is turned on for the first time. I only connected mine to a fuse, no other switches other than the battery master switch. When I turn on the main battery switch to power all circuits, the map light turns on automatically without pressing the button. I need to rewire it with an extra switch. So, to turn on the flashlight, I need to turn on the main battery switch, turn on the panel switch, turn on the map switch, and then select the red or white color switch.
