I don't understand why others don't have the same problems as me with this boat cover. A slight tug on the straps to secure the seal and the strap will disengage from the case. The straps are not long enough for my 17ft boat. The diagram shows the cover is long enough to cover the engine, but it is not (19ft coverage). I had to tie 2 straps together to make it around the middle part of the body. Also, this lid didn't come with instructions or a label indicating which part was the front, so it took way too long to figure out the stupid thing. Thanks for nothing Oxford!
