I just bought a house that had a pond full of about 40 or so koi. The water was disgusting and you couldn’t see the fish unless they were at the surface of the water. We tried several other pumps but they weren’t cutting it. The water just wasn’t getting clean and we were having to clean their filters everyday to keep the water flowing. That is until we bought this pump. This pump did wonders for our pond. Within a week we could easily see the bottom of the pond, I decided to see how long the pump would work before I cleaned the filters and it pumped and filtered perfectly for a month even after filtering all that crud out of the pond water. It’s awesome! I just wish the stock fountain pole was longer. I was able to rig it to be longer with the poles from the other pumps we tried, but it would have been nice to not have had to do that, especially at this price point. 10/10 would definitely recommend. Especially for nasty ponds like the one we ended up having.
