I was concerned that everything would be small and cheap. This is not the case at all, although there are some elements that could be improved. For example a flashlight / compass / whistle. The flashlight part had a white plastic piece that had to be pulled out so the battery wouldn't die before you took it out, but nothing happened when I pulled it out. or it looked like nothing had happened, it was glowing so faintly that I couldn't see it until I turned it towards me and looked into the hole. The whistle doesn't work either, it seems like it wants to, but it doesn't work. With this dear dear dear burner and lantern you can adjust the "flame" by turning the dial. Play with foods like cheeseburger chunks, hot dog and buns, as well as lots of velcro foods to slice up. Very happy with the purchase except for the light/whistle
