I live in an old house and when my original doorbells stopped working, the electrician couldn't repair it. I decided to give this doorbell set up a try.I have them on two different doors and with two different ringtones. They are plenty loud and they work without fail! I live in the Northeast with very hot summers and very cold Winters and they've held up beautifully for the last 6 months. And they're very nice looking. I used the double-sided tape and it seems to be holding up just fine on the wood trim. It's best to put it on a flat surface. Not sure how well it would work on stucco or brick.I highly recommend these!
