I've been using these knives for months, and I can't say enough good about them. I have to tell you though, I was a serious doubter of the Ninja brand of kitchen machines, and I had no faith in them doing anything reasonable with knives. My experience has been mostly with J A Henckels and IMarku knives, so these were very surprising when they cut so well.I have several of the Ninja knives now, but this review will be for the Chef and Santoku knives. The chef's knife weighs 244 grams, and is blade side heavy. The finish is good, as the tang is flush with the handle pieces and feels comfortable in the grip. I think it's a bit too thin of a grip for the weight, but someone with smaller hands may find this a good thing. The Santoku is probably my favorite of all the Ninja knives I have. This blade is 222 grams, and extremely tang side heavy. if pinching from the ninja emblem in the handle, the blade will balance vertically. However, strangely with the weight distribution and the handle roundness (much more than the chef knife), it's very well-balanced for most of my cutting needs in my hand. Like the chef knife, the tang and grips are flush. Both knives tend to keep their sharp edge very well on wooden and acrylic cutting boards. I have used the sharpener in the K32502 set, and the burr sharpener seems to keep the edge sharp as new.I now am a Ninja knife convert, as for the price point (mid-grade), these knives are well worth the cost. Highly recommend!
