Worked well for us and our dog! We have an 8 lb Pomeranian that required major orthopedic surgery and was miserable during her first week in the Ecollar cone. Also, she was driving us crazy in the middle of the night because she couldn't get water, so we had to keep feeding her and giving her water. So we gave it a try and it seems so much more convenient! Also, I mean, come on, she looks really cute in it too! Haha! We haven't had any issues with ours as some others have complained but she is not a super active dog and not one who actively tries to get her cut. We increased to a large size as someone suggested but it was too big for them. The medium size fits her perfectly and again she weighs 8 pounds.
