Works as described. I use it primarily as a laptop dock when working from home, providing power, monitor connection and keyboard/mouse/USB connection to my work laptop with a single cable. It's a lot more convenient than having to plug in half a dozen cables every time I bring my laptop home. I had some issues with it initially, including a video flickering issue reported by some users. I was able to solve these problems as follows: The hub has a very short cable to connect to your laptop. It was too short so I added a USB-C extension cable. This caused the video to flicker. This wire is intentionally short and you should use it that way. I ended up simply zip tying this hub to the bottom of my laptop stand to get the short cable where I needed it. The hub heats up when used for video and full bandwidth. It must be placed so that it can cool down. Don't put things on it. The wires you connect to it carry a lot of power and data. Don't leave slack wires tangled around the hub. This occasionally led to short video cuts for me. Tie them neatly and separately with zippers or Velcro. This prevents interference between wires. After taking the time to set it up like this, everything worked exactly as intended.
