in awe of these

"tie" for the game; Use adult coloring books that allow you to paint with watercolors, or just play on a piece of paper. I'm more of a colorist than an artist, so I can't really give an artistic rating. As many reviewers have said, they remind me of the eyeshadow palettes I used when I was younger. They give me the same pleasure as opening a box of 64 Crayola crayons. BUT I love them because of the way they draw. I can use more water for one type of wash and less for a light color. I've been experimenting and this is one of the only watercolors I can use to write my name without bleeding all over the paper. The circles are a little smaller than I expected, but that's what makes them so great. I can make my own "field box" out of this, which is even smaller than a koi box. I bought a Pentel water brush from him and it's handy to keep in your purse along with a small drawing pad. (I can even make my own little drawing pad by cutting larger watercolor sheets to make a little book.) The jar's "lid" is the perfect little palette for me. I can even add water to the central "well" and then have five small mixing pans. With my water brush, which holds so much water, I can squeeze the water into the lid to wash off easily and wipe it off with a paper towel to cover my "little" paint set. To be honest, now that I have this I don't see myself being able to use any other larger, more expensive sets, even at home. I'm still experimenting with color mixing so I'll update this review if I have anything to add on that aspect, but the 24 colors in a compact size and the texture of these colors make this a great $10 buy.
