This item exceeded my expectations. I ordered another pet leash and figured I could just use a bungee on this one and then use a different strap as it looked thicker. No, this one was perfect. It's durable and has enough padding so I no longer feel like it digs into me when the dog pulls. My dog gets scared when we go for a walk. Minus only in the handles. I have a harder time getting my hand in when I have to pull the dog to me. They are so hard to open and put my hand through. And it sucks when I have to fight my dog to keep him close when he sees something he wants to pursue. I started using a collar and a different leash. I use it as a safety net in case she breaks the other one or when we're on the run. Although I really love this one. If my dog wasn't so crazy, he would be the perfect one.
