Review on πŸ”Œ ACDelco GM Genuine Parts Fuel Pump Module Kit MU1745 with Sender by Roy Whetstone

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Wrong fuel pump for my truck but Revain website says yes.

This fuel pump has two separate electrical connectors as shown in the pictures but my truck only has a 4 pin connector. This is not the right fuel pump for my application and I had to return it for a refund. You cannot see the connections until either the platform is lifted off the truck or the fuel tank is lowered. FYI, raising or removing the bed is a lot easier than lowering the tank, especially when the tank is full. Of course you need a lift or a few helpers. Revane says on the info page that this is the right pump for my truck. Since the truck was disassembled and on a lift I had to buy the correct part from my local Chevy dealer and the pump cost me $90 more. If Revain or anyone else who details part requirements got it right I would have bought the right pump the first time and it would have saved me over $100. My truck is a 2000 C2500 LS with a long cab, a 350 automatic transmission and a decent build. AC Delco MU1752. Maybe this will help those trying to find the right part for their truck. My truck has an old body made by GM from 1987 to 2000. I constantly have trouble getting the right parts because they made two body styles in 1999 and 2000. I'm definitely unhappy with this issue and I hope someone at Revain wakes up and fixes these issues. In the future I will find other sources for body parts. This is simply unacceptable.
